Promise -Ben Howard

Promise -Ben Howard

And meet me there, with bundles of flowers,

We’ll wade through the hours of cold

Winter she’ll howl at the walls,

Tearing down doors of time.

Shelter as we go…

And promise me this:

You’ll wait for me only,

Scared of the lonely arms

That surface, far below these birds

And maybe, just maybe I’ll come home

Who am I, darling to you?

Who am I,

To tell you stories of mine

Who am I?

Who am I, darling for you?

Who am I

To be your burden in time, lonely

Who am I, to you?

Who am I, darling for you?

Who am I

To be your burden

Who am I, darling to you?

Who am I?

I come alone here

I come alone here

(be patient the intro is very soft and subtle)

Ben Howard – Promise Lyrics

Copied from MetroLyrics.com (http://goo.gl/LpNNv)

I heard this on House MD a while ago. Enjoy the flowers around my house. Not as impressive as Rajini Rao so I cheated and added my wife’s orchids and African violet from indoors.

Lovely garden, very organic looking and woodland-ish! Who is the Gardener in Chief? You or the Missus? Not as impressive as mine?..what nonsense!

I have to run out for a bit, but will be back with more compliments and will listen to the song that accompanies those romantic lyrics (You, Mr. Chad, have hidden depths!). Oh, yes, and to hand out demerits to a certain person 🙂

Smoke and mirrors. It’s a work in progress by the Haney household.

Gnotic Pasta, you’ll need some rooting hormone. Cut a bit of stem off (not woody), dip in the rooting hormone and then plant it in a small pot to begin with. I found a bunch of web sites with more details. Here is one: http://lorraine-syratt.suite101.com/how-to-propagate-lavender-by-cuttings-a205116

Feisal Kamil , you are confusing it with roosting hormone, (associated with roosters ) of which our Sultan has abundant supply. I suspect this latter chemical varies inversely with the rooting variety, allowing a quick getaway when things get sticky 😉

The small plot that I have is the Chicago equivalent of 0.5 acres. Many friends envy us because we have a garage and a backyard.

Rajini Rao well played. I almost wet my pants shopping when I read it. Seriously, though my wife uses the same trick (I don’t know the brand name) to propagate our jasmine (regular, not the Madagascar one).
