    BTW Cindy Brown, I bet it isn’t cold enough for your orchids. Seriously, our condo was always too hot. We keep our house on the cool side because it’s too expensive to heat. A lot of the orchids seem happier at the house. Our bird of paradise and Christmas cacti never bloomed until we moved to the house.

    I put them outside in a relatively sheltered spot over the winter here.  I haven’t figured out the sweet spot for coaxing them along, that’s for sure.

    Maybe they need repotting. My wife uses a special fertilizer for orchids. I can get that info for you.
