Bulbs are slowly coming along

Bulbs are slowly coming along

We had a brutal winter and it’s been a cool spring. The tulips are just now starting to bloom. Our hyacinths were starting to fall over after a nice rain. The forsythia has fully bloomed yet and our lilac is just starting to show signs of life.

Happy #FloralFriday

We’re trying to dry out..hopefully I’ll be able to get some gardening done this weekend, after the torrential rains all week.

Terry McNeil are you saying you want your Canadian cold air back? It’s been around 7°C for the past few days. We had a brief warm spell of maybe two days above 18°C. This coming Thursday is supposed to be near 24°C.

Stay dry Rajini Rao. I hope to encourage some weeding. 😉

Chad Haney 7C is spring weather, I’d be okay with it! 🙂

Terry McNeil, this winter has been so bad that 7°C feels nice to me. Cindy Brown will shudder, but I actually unzipped my coat a bit this morning while walking my dog. I think Cindy Brown would have long-underwear and a parka on at 7°C.

    And a hat!

Lovely pix!  My daffies are still growing, haven’t bloomed yet, but the freesia are starting.  Of course, I only planted them a few weeks ago, they’re not in the ground (pots).

Chad Haney I have ixora, jasmine and plumeria, and also crotons and ferns in my garden. They are not seasonal.
