Happy #FloralFriday , 6 March 2015
It’s 7°F/-14°C and I’m done with winter. Can we have some spring weather now? At least I can enjoy my new flowering maple. One of the orchids that I mentioned earlier has bloomed. It’s a tiny little flower, a bit larger than a US quarter but smaller than a 50 cent piece. We have one more bud on the bird of paradise.

A slightly warmer 14F here. I’m done with winter too. When spring finally arrives there may be dancing in the streets.

Thanks Jodi Kaplan. I can’t even remember if I planted any new bulbs. I don’t think we did. Nevertheless, I can’t wait to see my spring bulbs.

I adore the shapes of these. No grade school drawings ever looked like these flowers. Pity.
