Chess Records
Another music legend passes away in 2016. Phil Chess and his brother Leonard were just boys when they came to America from Poland. They founded Chess Records in Chicago and helped create some of biggest names in blues and early rock n’ roll: Buddy Guy, Muddy Waters, etc. Even the Rolling Stones would come to Chicago to record at Chess Records.
