September flowers 2018
I returned from a conference in the Grand Tetons and was happy to see the squirrels had not ruined all of my dahlia buds. One of the surviving cosmos (from seeds) seems to be determined to put on a show all by itself. Similarly, one of the marigolds (from seeds) is hanging on and producing flowers. We’ll do better on the seeds next year. For the dahlias, it’s mainly a problem with the weather and the squirrels.
