Late Spring 2017
Summer is 3 days away. I wasn’t able to photograph the roses in peak bloom. I trimmed them back significantly in the fall. It seems to have encouraged, all but one, to really bloom. Perhaps, now that I’m getting consistent compost, that might be helping too. There’s one tiny orchid that’s going to bloom. I think this is one that hasn’t bloomed before. The crown of thorns always puts out neat little flowers but this time I captured some before they fully developed.
We’re in an alternate world, I wouldn’t mind if someone took me home, to the real world.

Happy #FloralFriday, my peonies have bloomed. I don’t see more buds. Kind of a sad showing this year. I have a few rose buds. I will take a photo of a new little orchid that just started blooming.
More Spring Flowers
My lilac bush smells amazing. I think I missed the peak bloom of the allium while I was in Nashville. The irises look kind of sad this year.
