Happy Mother’s Day
Back a yard by The In Crowd
It’s been a while since I posted something to this collection. Here’s an easy groove for a Sunday evening.

#WordlessOnWednesday.
#ForceofNature.
I think this is an interesting campaign/program from REI. Getting more people outdoors is a good thing. Solving issues so women can enjoy the outdoors more, e.g., better gear designed specifically for women is a great idea.

Flowers upon my return
Looks like I missed the peak bloom for the tulips and Fritillaria imperialis. I got to enjoy most of the daffodil, forsythia, and Siberian squill (Scilla siberica) blooms before leaving for the conference in Honolulu. We cut the hyacinth and brought them indoors a week or so before I left. Sometimes the scent is overwhelming but this year, the catalaya and hyacinth added a nice scent to the kitchen. I probably missed the peak of the Fritillaria pallidiflora too but the purple grape hyacinth (muscari) are still going strong. The bleeding heart (Lamprocapnos spectabilis) is doing well right now as well. I think the allium is next, while the lilac, peonies, and roses are along way off.
