Chess Records
Chess Records
Another music legend passes away in 2016. Phil Chess and his brother Leonard were just boys when they came to America from Poland. They founded Chess Records in Chicago and helped create some of biggest names in blues and early rock n’ roll: Buddy Guy, Muddy Waters, etc. Even the Rolling Stones would come to Chicago to record at Chess Records. There’s all kinds of history with Chess records, including the Voyager mission. Read on to learn more.
RIP Phil Chess.

30 September 2016 Dahlias
The dahlias have been picked through and arranged in a couple of vases. I’m really pleased with the production this year.

Autumn Harvest
My dahlias are still producing a ton of flowers. We are really enjoying them this year. One of them is about 7ft/2m. It’s raining/drizzle off and on today and I thought my cell phone did a decent job catching some of the water droplets on the flowers.
